Coming up:
Sunday 21st May
 – Cricklade Historical Society celebrates it 70th Anniversary with an Open Day at Cricklade Museum. There will be a display of Medieval artefacts including armour and Have a Go at Archery put on by the Companions of the Longbow. Doors open at 10.00 and at 2.00 The Cricklade Court Leet will start the traditional “Beating the Bounds” from the museum as well. All are welcome.

Friday 2nd June – A walk about the history of the old Inns of Cricklade will leave the Town Hall Car park at 7.15, walk both sides of the High Street and then Calcutt Street ending at The Museum where refreshments will be served. All are welcome. Donations appreciated.

Sunday 18th June – Museum Open and Booksale at Cricklade Museum during the Cricklade Town Festival. There will be a display of vintage motor bikes. Open 11.00am – 4.00pm.

Wednesday 21st June – “More Churches, More Surprises” a talk by John Hickman at the Cricklade Town Hall Annexe, Doors open at 7.00 for a 7.30 start.

Sunday 2nd July – A talk at St Sampson’s church about the “Stained Glass of Martin Travis” starts at 3.00pm Entry is by ticket costing £5 obtainable from Tanya Garston, phone 01793 750309.
